LCD drivers and controllers are printed circuit boards/modules that provide an interface between a microprocessor (MPU) or microcontroller (MCU) system and a liquid crystal display (LCD) that may include capacitive or resistive touchscreen capability. Possible interfaces may include infrared, RS-323, pushbutton, Ethernet, serial, UART, TMDS, USB or TWI.
